Holidaying in Brazil:

After an arduous plane trip, and a delay in Lisbon, made it to Rio de Janeiro Saturday night. Met up with Bro (aka Sly senior), James and his friends Sam and Tom. Bit knackered, but went out on the piss in Lapa, to an 80s club. It was a pretty good night, had a few cervejas and a boogie.

The next couple of days we spent looking at Rios sites, mainly in the middle of the clouds. Went all the way up the mountain to see the statue od Christ the Redeemer, and couldnt see the bugger (the statue of Jesus not the dude himself) due to a massive cloud over the mountain. This is the best photo I managed to get, it does look quite imposing though.

Also went to the Tijuaca national Park (Alans not so Interesting Fact 1: it is the largest National Park found in a city in the world), and as you can see below James thought it was quite good.
